This coming Feb10, my niece has signed me up at a singles meeting, (the nerve of her!), should I go?

I%26#039;m a widower, I lost my wife, Lily 2 years ago, and I%26#039;m a bit apprehensive about this.

This coming Feb10, my niece has signed me up at a singles meeting, (the nerve of her!), should I go?
if i were you i would go becase your wife would of prolly wanted you to go i know its gonna be hard letting her go but as life gose on you may notice you get loney if you dont go i say go for it
Reply:Yes!
Reply:you have nothing to lose

:D
Reply:What ave you got to loose? Even if you do not find another partner, you might find some new friends, and it is probably fun to go there.
Reply:Aww, that%26#039;s actually sweet of her.

She obviously has your best interests at heart and wants to help you move on.

I think you should definitely go, just as a consideration of the whole thing.
Reply:Its worthwhile going out to meet new people and just have some fun. She has done you a favour.
Reply:That is sweet of her. You should really get out and start meeting people, even if its just for friendly conversation. I think you have a lot to gain and a little to lose. If you do not enjoy yourself then thats ok, at least you were brave enough to go...do things that scare you/challenge your comfort zone, it makes you a better person.
Reply:Make her happy if it is ethical.

Is this a good book idea?

remember its just an idea:

an 11 year old girl named Lily Green%26#039;s bestest freind just passed away from a car accident. She has moved from Kansas to New York. She attends at a new middle school. She thinks that her life is ruined. She doesnt want to make new freinds at all. She is depressed. She doesnt like New York. her mom is now very sick and her brother just got married. She meets the popular, the jocks, the emos, the nerds, the drama freaks. She cant go into one group. Then one day, she is assigned a partner, a girl named Cynthia Owens. She then finally relizes just hoe much common they have together, and she finally finds the true meaning of freindship.

Is this a good book idea?
You accadently spelled how hoe.

Anyway, Its a good book idea.
Reply:How about after they become friends, she starts her slow rise to popularity and is introduced to the dangers of the real world (drugs, drinking, etc.). Then she gets almost gets into major trouble but gets away with it at the last minute. She discovers the danger of what she is doing and decides that she needs to stop doing such...%26quot;risky%26quot; stuff... She starts on the road to recovery, but encounters major peer pressure... While online one day, she starts talking to this one person. This person helps her in her recovery and they become great friends. They decide to meet one day, and when she gets there, her internet friend is no other than the friend she thought had died...
Reply:aww that sounds really good!!!

i totaly love books like that maybe get the emotions accross to make it more attaching. like really make her hate the people for a reason. and like her first day in NYC something bad happens (like thats when she finds oiut her mom is sick) or somthing to make her hate it even more.

good luck!
Reply:Great idea, but.... If you want to make this very long, you%26#039;ll need just... more detail in general. But if you want it to be short, then, yes, this is good book idea.
Reply:I would definetly read a book with that story line. I love reading books with this type of plot. I hope you do actually write your idea. Let me know of your progress on it. Good luck!!!!!!
Reply:Hi yes thats really good sounds like my sort of book Hugs
Reply:i think is a very good book, like some kids real life. bye
Reply:sounds alright so far, keep going with it. Try to make it a little more original but other than that, good work so far :)
Reply:sound great
Reply:sounds good,
Reply:wow...that sounds REALLY good....really touching

Verizon LG EnV (VX9900) questions about service and problems with phone?

I have two questions about my phone, the LG EnV (VX9900):

1. The first question is about a problem I have with my phone. My phone seems to randomly cut off and certain times, but NOT ALWAYS OFTEN, it only happens once in a while, but it continuously does it when this happens. [Such as near my Verizon case for it [made for the phone] and when I had the video feature in zoom as far as it would go - it would record for a second or two and turn off. Is this worth going to the Verizon store for? What is happening? [I have a 1 year warranty].

2. This question is about the service of the phone - I see they have the new Orange EnV out. Do you think they would let me trade in my silver EnV for the Orange for either free or a little amount of money? Please give me details. Thank you. [Again, I have a 1 year warranty.]

Thank you,

Lily

Verizon LG EnV (VX9900) questions about service and problems with phone?
OK, to answer #1, my enV does that as well but its not very often, probably like once a week and its not worth it for me to trade it out because I have so many ringtones, games, etc on the phone. Take it to the store and get the technicians to look at it. It does not cost you anything for them to look at it and fix whatever may be wrong. If it is something they cannot fix, they can trade it out for another enV if they do indeed see that something is wrong.

#2- No, they will not. It%26#039;s against policy. You have to get the same phone as you originally had, no matter what kind of warranty you have. I know it doesnt seem to make a lot of sense, but it has something to do with inventory of phones.

Good luck!

Reply:To answer the first one, I would recommend you going to the Verizon store and have them fix it for under $25 or so. For the second, They do charge you a minimal amount to trade unless your eligible for an uprgrade. Hope I helped. And, your welcome.

How can I make myself less nervous to get my cats spayed?

I finally have the money to get 2 of my 3 females spayed.

Now I just have to make the appointment, but I%26#039;m super nervous even to do that.

The cats that I%26#039;m going to get fixed first is old grandma, Tabitha, she%26#039;s 9 years old. And Lily, she%26#039;s about 9 months old. Precious (the 5 year old) is going to have to wait another month or two.

I just have all these %26quot;What if?%26quot; questions going through my head. I know Tabitha is getting older, what if she dies during surgery? I%26#039;d be devistated if my pig pig dies. Would she stop being a witch to the other cats? She has randomly been smacking them for no reason, and has been very irritable to them. They are her (grown) kittens.

I know that they will have to have stitches for awhile.. what if they are playing with one of the other cats and the stitches get torn out? Or if they are cleaning themself and they rip the stitches out? How likely is this to happen?

I know I have had other worries, but that%26#039;s all I can think of right now..

How can I make myself less nervous to get my cats spayed?
Just think about how you%26#039;re reducing their risk of mammary cancer, and releasing them from the burden of heat cycles. Tabitha should be fine. The vet will run a preanesthetic blood test to ensure that she%26#039;s safe to undergo anesthesia. Your kitties won%26#039;t lose their personalities. Don%26#039;t worry about that, either. After the surgery, check their incisions twice a day for any redness or swelling. Keep them quiet and don%26#039;t let them jump around. Give them all of the pain medicine that the vet sends home. Use it until it%26#039;s gone. If they try to lick at the incisions, put the e-collar (party hat) on. No, they don%26#039;t like it but they%26#039;ll be ok with it. Your girls should be just fine. ;)
Reply:I have had many animals and most vets will tell you that spay or nuet will not change the animals true personality. it will however slow their metabolism and make them gain weight a bit more quickly but can be managed with the weight managment food on the market such as Purina. Just as with finding a doctor for yourself, find someone who is caring and perhaps get a recommendation from friends. Trust your instinct when going in to see the doctor. Your pet will always be nervous in a new environment but a good vet will put you right at ease and explain everything to you. You should feel comfortable with whoever you choose-remember you are paying them not the other way around! I love my vet and his staff -they are definitely animal lovers and it shows in the care they provide. remember animals recover from surgery much quicker than we do. My mini dach was fixed and she was up and running the next day! Your babies will do fine.
Reply:well heres one good thing about getting them spayed. they are less likely to get mammory cancer!

If the cats lick the stitches you will have to put one of those cones on their heads to make them stop. its not good for them to chew or scratch it out. But most cats dont care and will leave it alone.

Dont freak out when you get your cat home and they look sunking in on the sides, that goes away. Its just the stress of the surgery.

I dont think you have to worry about them ripping them out during play. Most wont even play for a whole week after the surgery, Which is the time you have to wait anyways.

Most are better around 7-10 days as well.

Theres always going to be a what if case when it comes to surgery, Theres no way to avoid it. But its better for them to be spayed in the long run.
Reply:i%26#039;ve never had a cat spayed, as i have owned males all my life. our current 4 month old is getting neutered next month, and i understand why you are nervous. but dont worry! vets do this spay/neutering procedure many times, and they are usually successful and have minimal side affects. dont worry about her dying; chances of that are extremely slim. just make sure she has a clean bill of health before the procedure; our kitty is still recovering from a URI, so he needs to wait to be fixed.

good luck with your kitties, and don%26#039;t be scared! it is a very common procedure.
Reply:Let%26#039;s take it in stages, as you have different situations with each. For Tabitha, as she is older, a blood profile is almost mandatory, so that the vet will know if there are any problems, and can tailor the anesthesia accordingly.

For Precious, probably blood work would be advised. For Lily, at her age, almost never a problem and blood work is rarely useful. If, for piece of mind, you wish, then go ahead but the money is often simply wasted at her age.

Your vet will probably suggest blood work for all. I simply am giving my opinion, and have had three kittens recently spayed, with no blood work.

There are no guarantees, and spaying is surgery. But spaying is about as routine as routine can be.

As far as afterwards, they will be groggy for the night after surgery, but will probably still insist on getting around. My one kitten dragged her back legs for several hours, before she was able to walk upright. The vet for the other two kept them overnight, so they were fully alert when I picked them up.

Two of my kittens bounced back almost the next day, while my third, who was a bit smaller, took several days to get back to normal.

As far as the stitches go, two of my kittens were almost gut kicking each other in wrestling within days of the surgery. I have had only females, and none of them have had problems with the stitches. If they bite on them, it will probably cause discomfort, and they will stop. Naturally, they will lick around the incision point to keep it clean.

In 10-14 days, you will return to the vet for removal of the stitches, or your vet may use absorbable stitches. On one of my kittens, I had to return as they were slow to absorb. On my third kitten, the stitches were in place the day before the vet visit, but she had removed them over the night, and they were gone when I got to the vet. And the vet said, that happens.
Reply:I would just think of the postives like no more kittens and cancer cats when they are not spaided. They might have to be seperated until the stitches come out.
Reply:OMG - I was the exact same way! A little over a month ago I took in a stray that was in a friend%26#039;s garage over the summer and she%26#039;s my first pet (vet said about 3 years old). So, she had one heat cycle here and I felt so bad for her added with the benefits to her from everything that I had read online, so I decided it would be best have her spayed. I went through the SPCA because of $$ vs. the vet, and I was a complete basket case the week before. My cat even picked up on it too I think because she was more skittish and timid than usual (she%26#039;s an unusually gentle and affection cat - but only w/ me - the guys in the house she%26#039;s afraid of). Then she threw up the AM the day before I was to drop her off (this particular clinic has no vet onsite, so they keep them overnight, drive to another clinic and you pick them up late the following afternoon).

But, long story even longer - she was absolutely fine and has been since. They do get internal stitches that their activity should be limited in the first few days/week (climbing stairs, furniture). Also, I was advised to watch that she doesn%26#039;t try to pick at the external stitches (there%26#039;s usually only 1 or 2). My cat was fine with that although she did jump up and climb stairs the following morning. She didn%26#039;t have an appetite that night, but her release papers said that was normal and she was back to eating the very next AM.

As everyone is saying - you are doing Tabitha and Lily such a service because you%26#039;re reducing their risk of certain cancers and eliminating the stress that a heat cycle puts their body through, so both of them will live longer. The SPCA used dissolvable stitches, so I don%26#039;t have to go back to have them removed.

Easy to say, but try not to stress it - I definitely overstressed it and as I said she picked up on it. They both will be fine and you will be too! The best of luck!
Reply:yeah. your helping your cat out. so your cat won%26#039;t hurt anymore, won%26#039;t have any problems, nothing. don%26#039;t worry your doing your cat a favor.
Reply:You might have to separate the cats for a while to prevent them from ripping each other%26#039;s stitches out- as for ripping them out themselves they might put cones around their necks but that won%26#039;t hurt them.It isn%26#039;t likely she will die if you have a good vet even though she is getting old- she isn%26#039;t REALLY old so she should be OK. :) Hope everything goes well!
Reply:Remmber that you are doing good not bad we have somany cats/dogs/horses/ect....that cant get homes and have to be put down and the vets are extremly careful in what they do we have 5 cats all spayed and nutered and we have took in 89 cats in the past month and every single one was fine during the sugrey and all of them got loving homes, and the vets makes sure the stitches can come out until he/she takes them out,yes cats are friendlier once fixed, and trust me they will be fine.
Reply:Seperating your kitties might be a good idea after they have surgery. Honestly, when I brought my female home (I got her fixed around 9 months) she ws purry and lovey and clingy and sweet and she hasn%26#039;t stopped since then.................lol. Before that she was only friendly when she wanted attention or food. So she%26#039;s completely opposite now. I was soooo worried about getting my babies fixed too but believe me, they%26#039;ll be ok. They%26#039;ll sleep a lot when they first come home. Just make sure they have a clean litter box and fresh food and water at all times. It isn%26#039;t very likely that they will rip the stitches out themselves, they%26#039;ll be careful because they will know something is different.

Now when you bring them home, expect your other kitties to hiss and growl at them. It is because they smell different. (since they were at the vet all day) This usually lasts a couple of days and then all the cats are fine. I found that wiping my cats down with kitty wipes helped to get the vet smell off of them.

Good luck!

Can I split my Stargazer bulbs?

I%26#039;m replanting a bulb bed and since it was so full of the Stargazer lily%26#039;s last year I want to share them in other beds. I was suprised at how large the bulbs are but that I had so few for the amount of flowers I had the last two years.

yes, I%26#039;m new to this...

Can I split my Stargazer bulbs?
We were all new once, and for a long time! To divide your stargazers, dig up and place on a tarp. While it%26#039;s on the tarp, look for natural separations in the bulb. Using a knife or a trowel divide the plant at these separations. Have your new planting holes ready.

Can I split my Stargazer bulbs?
Don%26#039;t cut individual bulbs. Split the root/tuber ball into sections and replant them that way. Remember that you don%26#039;t need many bulbs to have many flowers. So a few here and a few there will give you color all over your garden.

Should I Make my Son do the Dishes?

I have two children, my 7-year-old daughter Lily and my 5-year-old son Tom. One day during before Christmas, we finished dinner and left the dishes stacked up at the kitchen sink. I decided to train my son Tom to clean the dishes, but just as I started my wife stopped me. My wife is Christian and because the bible states that women must serve men she therefore believes Tom cannot be exposed to dishwashing, which was, as she said, %26quot;a woman%26#039;s job.%26quot; Instead, my little girl Lily had to do the dishes, and she wasn%26#039;t happy with that.

I don%26#039;t mind if my wife does the dishes. The problem is that she almost never does them and expects Lily to do them. She doesn%26#039;t even accept help from me or Tom.

One night I spoke to my wife. She told me that not only were these gender rules important for religion but they were also important for Tom%26#039;s future. She claims that when Tom grows up he will never be able to get a girlfriend if he serves her.

Is this true? Is there evidence that women want this?

Should I Make my Son do the Dishes?
I hate to tell your wife this but most young women have to work outside the home and expect their men to do some of the housework and that includes dishes. She%26#039;s living in the 50%26#039;s while the rest of us are in the 2000%26#039;s. He nees to know how to take care of himself at the very least - how to make a meal and clean up, how to do his laundry, how to keep a house clean because what if (god forbid) his wife should die an leave him with a few children to care for.
Reply:Your question seems to be steeped in religious fervor. In my family everyone shared all household responsibilities. Much of the world shares this concept. But religion-based convictions are not always real-world for everyone.

Good luck.
Reply:MEN SHOULD HELP OUT. TELL YOUR WOMAN TO BACK OFF AND LET THE MAN DO A JOB ONCE IN A WHILE THEN IF NOT YOUR MAKING IT SEEM TO YOUR KID THAT THE WOMEN IS SUPPOSE TO DO ALL THE WORK AND THE MAN JUST SITS AROUND AND BE%26#039;S LAZY ALL HE IS GOOD FOR IS DRINKING AND PRODUCING BABIES. HAHAHAA
Reply:I grew up with 2 sisters and a brother we all had to do the dishes, trash, and help out both our mother and father with chores, my grandfather is retired from the church now and all of us our grown and happliy married, I say let the boy help with dishes.
Reply:That is not true. I am married and my husband and I love each other very much. We both are Christain and attend church regularly. We spend time praying with other, but we do not wait on each other had and foot. Your wife should not have to do every thing around the house and neither should your children. When it%26#039;s time to cook dinner we do it together, we clean up together and it really helps out relationship. One day cook dinner for your family and have the whole family clean up together. One wash, one rinse one dry and one out away. It will build a relationship and show your children how to work together, Also tell your wife that when God made Eve he took a bone from Adams rib, the bone closest to his heart. If God intended for the wife to be the slave he would have taken a bone from the foot. Let her know that you should work together nad that the woman and the man are equal. Tell he that when you were married you became one, you became equal. If all else fails then suggest coupls counseling. This is not going to be good for your children when they get older. Your son will want to be waited on hand and foot by his wife because that%26#039;s what he was taught to do.
Reply:My ex%26#039;s mom behaved the same way (but without the crazy religious beliefs) it made him a judgemental ******.

If your wife wants to %26quot;serve%26quot; you so bad.. tell her to respect your wishes to raise your son as a well rounded self-sufficent individual.

He may not end up living with a woman (after college or ever) does she plan to go to his house and wash his dishes for the rest of her life?
Reply:When I first started reading this question my initial reaction was Tom is a little young to be doing dishes, as is Lily. I have 4 kids (14, 10, 9, 7) and each of them has chores to do. My 14 yr old son does the dishes for us on occasion. I believe that all children, boys/girls, should be exposed to household chores regardless of religion or belief.

As for your wife believing Tom will not find a girlfriend if he serves her, that is pretty bizarre. I would be ecstatic if my husband helped with the house cleaning without being asked.

As a women and mother I want my children to be happy with everything that they do and I don%26#039;t think that my girls will be happy if they have to %26quot;serve%26quot; the man they choose to spend their life with.

Good luck with this dilemma and have a great 2007!
Reply:It depends on his age. If he is old enough there is absolutely no reason he cannot help with dishes or any other household chores.
Reply:Oh Hel*l No, tell your wife to pull head out of the orifice she has it in and get with the real world, All my children and cook and clean and do so every day, it depends on there ages as to how much they do, my oldest, (now moved away) says he is glad i taught him all the homey stuff cause he can now cook for himself and makes him feel good about himself, your wife is sooooo wrong.
Reply:First of all I am a devout cristian and have read the Bible many times over, and there is no verse that expreses that men cannot help in the kitchen or anything of the sort. It does say thogh that men must act manly (this is said in relation to non-homosexuality not house roles) also it says that a man is head of the house, but not that men cannot do house chores. On a purley secular level this is a misconception, that men cannot do chores or they will grow up to be abnormal in any way. I can tell u from experience that my parents always gave me chores around the house when i was a kid and I even had to cook on some ocasions. This only fortified my sense of responsiblility and made me a hard-working person. Now, there is a trick to making your son do chores implement the, reward system assign him an allowance if he doesn´t have one yet, and if he does tell him that he will only reicieve it as long as all his chores are done ect. This will entice him to want to do chores. In the long run it has been proven that this over-protection spoils growing childeren and makes them grow up to be unproductive adults as. This can also lead to raising Tom with an abusive mentality twords women, that they are under him and therefore must be enslaved for his benifit and things relevant to this line of thinking. So as far as I can advise you it would not only be a good idea but it would benifit Tom as well as u. Remember don´t belive anything the church says without proof, any statement I make involving religion I make sure I can prove it with the Bible or by direct and clear logical thinking. So if u ever doubt anything ASK for reasons, if they can´t answer it´s because its beyond even a religious scope and you must trust your insticts on it.
Reply:That%26#039;s BS You%26#039;re wife is crazy lol Not many women want a guy that they have to wait on hand and foot.
Reply:Isn%26#039;t it a little late to be questioning your wife%26#039;s behavior now?...Your daughter is already doing the dishes and I guess you haven%26#039;t complained all this time when your wife was %26#039;serving%26#039; you...Take your son out camping and teach him to be self- reliant then, that way your wife and daughter can slave in the house for you and your son won%26#039;t grow up without learning to do the dishes.
Reply:well your wife and your son could share the responsibility of doing this dishes like your son could dry and your wife can wash. and they both can stack the dishes.
Reply:Awww, I think that is so sad that your 7 yr. old daughter has to do the dishes but then I think your wife will rethink that when you guys get sick because I doubt she is really capable of doing a good job unless she is using a dishwasher but still she must have to stand of a stool to reach and then does she clean the knives too? Why not let her play? Poor little Lily... :(

As for the 5 yr. old doing the dishes... uh, no! He is too little. Teach him to pick up his toys, that%26#039;s enough.

As far as him not getting a girlfriend if he serves women, I think that is silly. There definitely needs to be balance in chores and if one works outside of the home and the other does not then of course they should do the dishes, it would be a natural part of thier contribution but either way a both should be able to take care of themselves.

Hopefully your son will go off to college and live a little bit of a single life while he grows into a man and he will need to know how to take care of himself during those times. You wouldn%26#039;t want him to marry just so he would have someone to do the dishes would you?
Reply:What? I expect my man to serve me, and yes every once in a while do a load of dishes. It%26#039;s called self respect, what women wants to cook, clean, work and take care of the children, while the men just come home and sit. That sounds absurde! you%26#039;ll just raise a spoiled child that never learns responsibilty. Time to be a man and start doing the dishes yourself and send her to the couch every night.
Reply:the husband is the head of the house which means she shouldn%26#039;t question you

try that on her
Reply:Who will take care of Tom when he is on his own? Will his mother come over and clean his dorm room or apartment? What women will want a man that can%26#039;t take care of himself? They will think that he can%26#039;t take care of himself, he won%26#039;t be able to take care of a family. I%26#039;m sure you did dishes in your life time. You are the child%26#039;s father, put your foot down and tell your wife there are things that a boy needs to learn and you are going to teach him. Also do the bathroom and laundry, he needs to know how to do these things for himself.
Reply:Tom needs to learn. If he doesn%26#039;t he will grow up to be a sloth. If he doesn%26#039;t know how to do things how will he learn to take care of himself when he moves out? It%26#039;s not a matter of serving a girlfriends -though I started dating my husband when I found out he can cook and wash laundrey at the same time. It%26#039;s a matter of taking care of himself.
Reply:My son came late in my life so I spoiled him way too much.

He is 34 now and he finally figured out how to do the dishes, I am ashamed to admit that it was my fault. But it is. Every mother should allocate the same amount of housework to both genders,

Believe me, a grandmom of 74, a wife today needs all the help she can get and would not tolerate a guy who does not know how to help in the kitchen, laundry room and so forth. Please do not do my mistake, teach the boy whatever needs to be taught to be a good husband. He will need it
Reply:Your wife is twisting religion to suit what she thinks. I think both sexes need to do chores and responsibilities. In my house my husband does dishes and I do laundry (he%26#039;s banned from laundry because he%26#039;s a bit too bleach-happy). I think it would be best to have both kids do it if they must. If your wife pushes most of her chores off on the daughter, that is just sad. I expect my husband to help me. If he believed in strict gender roles like your wife does, I%26#039;d have not married him. I expect 50/50, not me doing everything.
Reply:I grew up in a very large Christian household. My four brothers all learned how to do dishes, vacuum, dust, cook, mend and do laundry, while all six of my sisters and I learned to do yard work, hammer a nail, replace a light bulb.

Who knows your son may never marry and will become a mommy%26#039;s boy because mommy never taught him in the %26quot;way that he should go so that he would never go astray.
Reply:Yes, your wife and Lily should be doing the dishes. You and your son%26#039;s job is to relax and watch football. And call for a beer or other beverage from your wife when you need one.
Reply:No she%26#039;s taking it too far. Gender roles may tend toward one or the other naturally but it doesn%26#039;t mean that one gender cannot do them, and especially as a young child. In fact he should do them sometimes so he knows HOW.
Reply:I%26#039;m afraid to say your wife is crazy.
Reply:I%26#039;m a bit more concerned that your wife has a 7 year old little girl doing dishes for a family of four, with no help allowed. That seems abusive to me.

As for the gender roles, the bible commands that women submit to the authority of their husbands... not that they serve them hand and foot... and... for the best example of servanthood... Jesus washed the disciples feet just hours before he was imprisoned before his death.

She%26#039;s way off base and it sounds to me as if she needs some professional help to get back on track.

Having children aged 5 and 7 help with household chores is a good practice, but things like dusting and vaccuming, cleaning up their toys, making their beds... those things are appropriate for children of that young age. My kids started helping with dishes at age 10, and laundry at age 12. They%26#039;re not slave labor... they%26#039;re your children... You have a responsibility to show them how to take care of themselves and how to serve one another... not females serving males... but sharing responsibilty and being individually able to help when/where needed.

Notice I said YOU have a responsibility... these aren%26#039;t your wife%26#039;s decisions to make on her own. You need to take the reins and be the head of the household, by example. Don%26#039;t let her stop you from helping with the dishes... don%26#039;t let her stop you from setting the example both your children need to see of a compassionate and caring, leader in the home.
Reply:Wow! I think you need to have a good long hard conversation with your wife and tell her that she%26#039;s gone a bit too far with her religion. The Bible is one thing and everyday life is another.

There%26#039;s completely nothing wrong with a male doing dishes. This gives him more skills as to when he%26#039;s on his own.

Growing up, my father cooked - did dishes and some house chores and both of my parents went to church.

Woman was NOT put on this earth to be man%26#039;s SLAVE!

EVERYONE in the entire household needs to pitch in and do what they can to make sure the home runs smoothly. When everyone helps then you have more quality FAMILY time. Doing chores, for children, is a great way to earn an allowance.

My son, with 3 girls, has always done %26#039;household%26#039; chores and then they have more quality family time together. He NEVER expects his wife to do it all.

Being a house wife is a difficult job and anytime we can have help then we truly appreciate it. Keeping the house running smoothly is everyone%26#039;s responsibility.
