Can you tell me whats wrong with my cat?!?

Alright, well I have a two year old cat named Lily and she has always been a very good cat. For the past few days she has been acting insane! She will run into the room and bounce off the walls like something is following her, and the run out. She is also acting like she was a baby kitten again, because when I first got her she really liked playing with toys and strings and things, but then she outgrew it..but now she%26#039;s doing it again, and swiping at air.

She is declawed/spayed.. so I don%26#039;t think it could have to do with that...

Can you tell me whats wrong with my cat?!?
How%26#039;s the weather? Sometimes when cats sense a large storm of some sort, they get a little crazy. Mine do it all the time. Another thing may be that there%26#039;s a plant outside that you%26#039;re tracking the scent of in on your shoes. My cat decided to practically tear off my foot one day for this reason. A new plant inside may also be the reason.

But for the most part, cats will be cats. Might be that she just got in a mood and decided to liven the place up a little! Just keep an eye out that she doesn%26#039;t look like she has problems with her ears or is panting too much. If that%26#039;s the case, she may be having some sort of irritation that%26#039;s causing her to act crazy in an attempt to escape it.

But in the meantime, enjoy your kitty acting crazy! They%26#039;re hilarious when they do. (Except my Banshee, who will tear around the house yowling in the middle of the night...)

She%26#039;s still young and has a lot of energy in her. Don%26#039;t be worried.
Reply:There is nothing wrong with your cat (at least I don%26#039;t think so) my cats do that all the time we just say they are frisking lol it is normal for my cats to do that I think it is really funny!
Reply:dogs are cool
Reply:Its part of being a cat...my one cat is 4 years old...still acts like an idiot...running around the house, meowing at the ceiling...bouncing off walls. It always happens without notice too...its normal...dont worry about it! Just sit back and get a good laugh from watching her!
Reply:don%26#039;t know, try calling your vets office and telling them what%26#039;s going on and they might be able to give you some info.
Reply:there are evil spirits in that room.you had best follow her..
Reply:That is typical cat behavior. Enjoy it. It%26#039;s hilarious isn%26#039;t it?
Reply:your cat is purrrfectly fine. Cats just seem to do that from time to time. i had a cat for 16 years and she acted like that occasionally till the day before she died. So dont worry, its a normal thing for them to act like this..
Reply:Doesn%26#039;t seem like anything is wrong with her. Just like people, sometimes animals are more playful at times.
Reply:there%26#039;s nothing wrong with your cat, everything she%26#039;s doing is normal. play with her. trust me even when she%26#039;s 8 years old she is going to get those spurts of playfullness that only an owner can enjoy. also did you get any new plants or something with a new scent that may have set her off.
Reply:sometimes they just get a wild hair
Reply:She is just in an unusually good mood. DON%26#039;T STRESS!! Just sit back and enjoy the show.
Reply:She is just being playful it doesnt mean there is anything worng with her. Cats do that sometimes. I have 3 cats the oldest being 16 and she too has moments where she acts like a kitten again.
Reply:Set out some mousetraps, or look for signs of rodents. MY fiancee had two ferrets that could hear mice in the walls of the basement (even though they were on the third floor of the house!) They totally freaked, trying to get out of the cage to hunt it down, until he finally let them chase it around the basement.

Otherwise, it%26#039;s probably just the cat being a cat. Too much energy is a much better sign in an animal than it becoming lethargic. :)
Reply:Sounds like she%26#039;s just blowing off steam, getting exercise. I have two older cats who occasionally do that as well. I wouldn%26#039;t be concerned.
Reply:shes playing ,give her a break!
Reply:Just being a cat!

They go through moods just like people do.
Reply:Kick Her . . . really hard and I%26#039;m sure she%26#039;ll stop, atleast for a minute.
Reply:is this a bad thing i mean your cats fine right??? or it could be a bad case of fleas or what not but you have an active cat if it is a bad thing try the treat method well help ur cats ok
